Twin Peaks creator David Lynch is returning to the small screen with an L.A.-based ensemble drama.

The quirky auteur delivered a pilot script for Mulholland Drive to ABC last week and shooting is to begin next month. Network executives said the yet-to-be cast show's sensibility will be reminiscent of Twin Peaks, but that Lynch has the new series more "mapped out," so that it won't start strong and then peter out as that one did.....
